Terms of Service

NightNight is a service operated by Robot, DESTROY! LLC ("we", "us"). We generate personalized bedtime stories for children — stories featuring your child's name, their interests, and themes you choose — using a combination of your inputs and advanced AI. You can reach us any time at hello@mynightnight.com.

You place an order by telling us about your child: their name, age, favorite theme, a friend or pet they'd like in the story. You pay via Stripe. We generate a personalized bedtime story and email it to you, usually within minutes.

Our stories are generated by an AI model (Claude, by Anthropic) working from the information you provide. A human does not manually write each story, though we've engineered the prompts and review output quality.

Prices are listed in US dollars on our site and at checkout. We use Stripe to process payments. You authorize the full charge at checkout; we do not store your card details.

Single stories are one-time purchases. We also offer a monthly subscription for recurring stories. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time from your Stripe customer portal — no reason needed.

If your story didn't land — maybe it missed the tone, maybe our output fell short — reply to the delivery email within 48 hours and request a refund. We'll issue one, no questions asked.

For monthly subscribers, you can cancel at any time to stop future charges. If a specific month's story was unsatisfying, reply and we'll either regenerate it or refund that month. We'd rather you be happy than technically right.

The story we deliver to you is yours to read, print, share with family, and save forever. You may not resell our stories as a template to others, nor rebrand our service as your own.

NightNight is intended for bedtime storytelling for young children. Please don't use it to generate content that would be inappropriate for a child — explicit, violent, or harassing themes. We have content guardrails in place and may refuse orders that appear to violate them.

Please don't submit personal information about your child that you wouldn't want in a printable PDF delivered to your email — we only need what makes the story feel personal.

Every story we deliver is generated by a large language model. We tune the system to produce warm, age-appropriate, calming bedtime stories — but AI can occasionally drift, miss tone, or produce something slightly off. You should read the story before reading it to your child, and request a regeneration if it doesn't work.

The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do our best to produce stories you and your child will love, but do not guarantee a particular reaction, sleep outcome, or educational result.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Robot, DESTROY! LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we do, we'll update the 'last updated' date at the top. Material changes will also be communicated by email if we have your address on file. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Robot, DESTROY! LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
